Terms and conditions
-
All commissions are accepted via PayPal invoice, which will include an individualized contract included in the Terms & Conditions section. By paying the invoice, the client agrees to the terms stated within that contract. Please read it carefully.
-
The client must pay 50% of the total cost of the commission within one week of the delivery of this invoice. I will not begin work on any commission, under any circumstances, before this initial payment is received. If it is not received within one week of delivery, I will dismiss this commission with no further obligation to the client.
-
Upon completion of the commission, I will send the client a low-resolution, watermarked version of the piece. At this point, the client will be reminded to pay the remaining 50% of the invoice. If this invoice is not paid within one week of this reminder, I will not send the full-resolution file without a watermark, will reserve the full and exclusive rights to the artwork depicted within the commission, and will keep the initial 50% of the payment with no further obligation to the client.
-
I will send a watermarked update at every major stage of production (sketch, lineart, and flat colour) as applicable. The client will then have one week to either approve the piece for further work, or request revisions. If no input or response is given by the client within one week, the piece will be considered to be approved, and no revisions will be accepted at this stage.
-
The client is entitled to one round of minor revisions at each major stage of production. If any revisions require significant reworking or recreation of the piece, the client will be subject to additional charges equal to the amount of time and effort required to accommodate this revision. Further minor revisions beyond the first round are also subject to an additional charge.
-
If the client wishes to cancel the commission at any point after the initial 50% deposit has been sent and work has begun, I will keep both the art and the 50% deposit as a kill fee, regardless of the amount of progress that has been made on the commission, and any further obligation towards the client will be nullified.
-
Once the commission is complete, the piece becomes the property of the client. Even so, I still maintain authorship credit, meaning that the client cannot claim the work as their own, the client cannot alter the work without my permission, and I reserve the right to post this piece on my portfolio and social media at my discretion.
-
The client cannot sell or reproduce the finished commission in any capacity. If the client does wish to sell or otherwise commercially reproduce the finished commission, this request can be submitted for consideration at any time, but will not be accepted without further payment (50% increase) and the entry into a new, separate contract.
-
Under absolutely no circumstances do I consent to any finished commission or progress pictures being used/sold as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
-
I will not draw NSFW/18+ content, mecha characters, or furry characters out of personal preference. This does not apply to actual animals, both of which I will draw.
-
I am willing to draw any humanoid character(s), original to you or otherwise, but visual reference must be given. I will not accept any commission that is not accompanied by at least one picture for reference (I will contact you to request reference photos after you've submitted your commission form).
-
Unless an alternative timeline is discussed, all commissions will be completed within 30 days of the initial invoice being paid (force majeure notwithstanding). If a commission is not completed within this period of time, the client is entitled to a full refund.
-
I may reserve the right to refuse any commission request for any reason
without explanation.
